Our Story
Life Church of Sacramento, formerly known as God Will Provide Evangelical Church was founded in 2012 in obedience to God and in accordance with His direct revelation.
The Sacramento location started with a group of young believers who were earnest for a move of God in their life. They were not satisfied with just reading testimonies of how God used to move. They believed in a God who is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow and a hunger arose for a move of God in their everyday life.
A rehabilitation center for men came first. It quickly became very clear that a church was needed for these new believers where they can be accepted and given opportunity to grow in ministry, to grow in their relationship with the Lord, and to create new thriving families.
Many projects followed. An orphanage was built in Honduras, a missionary base was established in Peru, sister churches were planted in Cleveland, Texas, Florida, Vacaville. A Women's Rehabilitation Center followed along with a Missionary School, giving rise to many people coming together and experiencing God's goodness and grace.
The main vison of the church is: everyone deserves a chance at a new life, a future in God, and a place in the local church. Regardless of your past, we hold fast to the belief that when we confess our sins Jesus is faithful in His forgiveness and His blood is strong enough to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, and in Him we are a new creation.
Our church doors are always open to those who are in need of healing, restoration, and recovery. Thousands of people come and go but Life Church of Sacramento was and is, a type of hospital, a beacon of hope to those who need it most - pointing the way to the one in whom we have LIFE.
